Dr. George Leininger's Formaldehyde Generator

This smallest of the Leininger formalin burners was used to heat formalin pastils to release formaldehyde gas into sick rooms. (See SMMA March 1997 article on formaldehyde room disinfectors). 4 1/2 inch high stand supports a formalin cup over a small alcohol lamp. Marked "Dr. Geo. Leininger's Formaldehyde Generator - Chicago".
