Accessories for the American Agriculturist Microscope

Homemade accessories for the American Agriculturist microscope appeared in the magazine from time to time. These included various inclination joints, methods for transillumination, and eyeshades. The American Agriculturist stressed the value of the microscope to the farmer, but, apparently realised that children had the greatest interest in examining seeds and mold. The "Young Microscopists Club" was a regular feature in the magazine for several years.
