Bond's 1881 Cream

Bond's centrifuge used a 3 ft dia. horizontal drive wheel belted to a 2 ft diameter flywheel, below which hung swinging buckets to hold the sample tubes. The device was demonstrated to the Mass State Board of Agriculture in December, 1880, with the Governor of Massachussetts turning the crank.
